Abstract
This research was conducted to find out about the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in science and science learning at SD Negeri 02 Talang Anau, Limapuluh Kota Regency and the obstacles in its implementation. The subjects of this research were class IV science teachers and class IV students at SDN 02 Talang Anu. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method using interview, documentation and observation techniques. The data analysis technique used is in accordance with Miles and Huberman's opinion, which consists of 3 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are that SD Negeri 02 Talang Anau has implemented the Independent Curriculum, especially in science and science learning. In practice, the implementation of an independent curriculum in science and science learning in class IV involves several significant changes, such as the implementation of an integrative approach. Teachers are starting to use various more interactive learning methods, such as problem-based projects and group discussions, but in implementing them there are still several obstacles such as limited resources, teacher difficulties in adapting learning media, lack of teacher ability in conditioning the class, learning media are not utilized optimally. , less number of assessments carried out, short time to assess.
