Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in Indonesian language subjects. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using interview techniques, observation, and documentation, namely with the Principal, Class Teachers, and Class II Students. The results of this study are the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in Indonesian language learning for class 1 at SDN 182 Pekanbaru is carried out to improve the quality of learning and catch up on children's learning in accordance with the times. Learning planning, starting from conducting observations first to determine students' abilities and to determine the right learning method, after that compiling learning achievements, learning objectives, learning activities, learning assessments and teaching modules. The implementation of learning focuses on 4 aspects, namely reading, listening, speaking, and writing through exercises in arranging and writing vowel sounds, students read syllables well, create personal data and present personal data in front of the class. Then the assessment or assessment is divided into 3 types of assessments, namely: first, diagnostic assessment, forensic assessment and summative assessment
