Abstract

his research aims to examine the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Enhancement Initiative (P5), focusing on the theme of enduring sustainability lifestyles on the critical reasoning skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 158 Pekanbaru. P5 is an initiative of the Kurikulum Merdeka that emphasizes character education based on Pancasila values, including projects that instill awareness of sustainable lifestyles. The research approach applied is ex post facto with a quantitative method. The target population of this study comprises all fourth-grade students, with data collected through a validated questionnaire. The outcomes reveal a noteworthy effect of the P5 initiative, themed around sustainable lifestyles, on learners' analytical reasoning capacities. This underscores that adopting P5 not only deepens students' comprehension of ecological concerns but also bolsters their evaluative thinking competencies. These results are anticipated to inform the formulation of applicable and situational project-oriented pedagogical approaches in elementary education.
