Abstract

The reward method is one of the methods used by the teacher in giving lessons which with this method specializes so that students get their motivation in learning by giving good rewards among these fellow students. with this also the reward method more closely follows each other's appreciation of students in learning. One of them is a class XI MIPA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah Rokan Hilir Regency. So the researcher is interested in doing research at SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the reward method has a significant effect on learning motivation in PAI subjects in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir Regency. The population and sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 6. The results of this study indicated that the results of the analysis obtained a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis in this study was accepted. This means that there is an effect of the reward method on student learning motivation in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir Regency. The level of influence of the reward method on student learning motivation in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Bagan Sinembah Rokan Hilir Regency can be seen from the probability of the correlation coefficient value (R) of 0.710 or 61%, this means that there is a strong relationship between the reward method and student learning motivation in class XI MIPA at SMA 1 Bagan Sinembah, Rokan Hilir Regency
