Abstract

The implementation of occupational safety and health protection originates from Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers for SMAN 10 teachers during the Covid 19 outbreak in Pekanbaru City. Legal protection for the implementation of occupational safety and health based on regulations that apply to Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers for SMAN 10 teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of implementing Occupational Safety and Health is to educate school members about risk factors and hazards as well as diseases that can arise as a result of activities at school. Occupational Health and Safety in SMAN 10 Pekanbaru is intended to be able to increase student competence as an effort to prevent and deal with hazards or diseases that may arise. The type of research used is observational research, namely techniques used such as interviews and questionnaires to collect data and go directly to the field of research. While this research has an analytic descriptive nature, namely the author tries to describe in detail the efforts to protect occupational safety and health for teaching staff when face-to-face learning begins in the city of Pekanbaru during the Covid 19 pandemic. The samples were collected using the purposive sample technique, namely sampling through a consideration that is considered suitable or can represent the object to be studied. The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Protection for teachers based on law number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru has not been fully implemented by both the school and residents of the school environment according to applicable regulations.
