Abstract

This research was a correlational quantitative research. This research was motivated by lack of students’ learning motivation in Islamic education lesson. The focus of the problem in this research questioned how was the influence of school environment on students’ learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 37 Pekanbaru. The subject used all students class VIII junior high school 37 Pekanbaru. The population in this research took students class VIII junior high school 37 Pekanbaru in 145 students. This research consisted of two variables that was school environment (variable X) and learning motivation (variable Y). Research finding showed that there was any influence of school environment on learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 37 Pekanbaru. It could be seen from data computation used OUTPUT SPSS that regression analysis got t counted score > t table in significant level 5% where 2.261 > 1.663 and it could be meant that there was any influence of school environment on learning motivation in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 37 Pekanbaru.
