Abstract

This study aims to find out how many Islamic economics students in Pekanbaru City understand Islamic economic and financial literacy programs such as KNEKS. The Indonesian government is trying to make a platform like KNEKS into an institution that can maintain the strength of the Islamic economy at the national and international levels. In reality, many students who attend Islamic economics study programs are not familiar with KNEKS and its programs. The authors found that 2% of students knew the existence of KNEKS while conducting pre-research. However, in reality, KNEKS has been established since 2016 and has helped the country's sharia economic growth a lot nationally and internationally. This study involved sharia economics students in Pekanbaru City. This study collected data through questionnaires distributed to Islamic economics students in Pekanbaru City using the Likert scale method. Field research with quantitative methods is this type of research. Descriptive analysis is performed on data through editing, coding, and tabulating using the Microsoft Excel application. The results showed that the level of knowledge of sharia economics students in Pekanbaru City about the Islamic economic and financial literacy program at KNEKS was 52 percent which was included in the "Enough" category. This means that approximately 52% of sharia economics students in Pekanbaru City have known about the Islamic economic and financial literacy program at KNEKS.
