Abstract

Tourism plays an important role in a country's economy. Through the tourism sector, local governments that have tourist destinations can generate income from each destination they have. Tourist attraction development is the result of interactions between social, economic and industrial processes. Therefore, each element involved has a specific role. The aim of this research is to find out how Collaborative Governance works in Bono Tourism Development and the inhibiting factors of Collaborative Governance in Bono Tourism Development in Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency. This research uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods. From this research it was found that this collaboration only involves the government and society, with the government playing the main role, while the involvement of the private sector has not reached a significant level. The factors that hinder the development of Bono Tourism in Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency, include limited budgets for tourism infrastructure development and promotion that is not yet optimal.
