Abstract

Human resource management is a very important factor that cannot be separated from organizations, both an institution and a company. The high quality of human resources will greatly influence the sustainability of the goals of an organization. This study aims to investigate the employee knowledge on Islamic Work Ethics at the Islamic University of Riau. The subject of the study is the employees of Islamic University of Riau. The object of the study is the level of employee knowledge on Islamic Work Ethics at the Islamic University of Riau. The data sources of the study are primary and secondary data. The sampling technique was taken by the Slovin formula, with a total sample of 76 respondents selected by applying the propotinate stratified method. The data collection technique of the study is questionnaires. This is a quantitative descriptive study. Based on the results of the study regarding the analysis of employee knowledge on Islamic Work Ethics at the Islamic University of Riau obtained from the respondents’ answers, it can be concluded that P = 83.91%, it means that the analysis of employee knowledge of Islamic Work Ethics at the Islamic University of Riau is classified as "very knowledgeable" which is included in a percentage range of 81% - 100%. It means that the level of employee knowledge on Islamic Work Ethics at the Islamic University of Riau is "Very Good".
