Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know business development potential based sharia in growing santripreneur at boarding school Al-Munawwarah Pekanbaru city. This research was descriptive quantitative research. Sample in this research consisted of head of foundation, entrepreneurship section at boarding school, business unit manager, teachers and students. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis in this research used descriptive quantitative. Research finding showed that business development potential based sharia in growing santripreneur at boarding school AL-Munawwarah Pekanabru city, based on observation at boarding school Al- Munawwarah had been potential in developing business-based sharia and it could grow santripreneur supported by interview result. Based on data finding, it could concluded that business development potential based sharia in growing santripreneur at boarding school Al-Muawwarah Pekanbaru city that viewed from internal and external view. The internal factors from internal strength from business unit at boarding school Al-Munawwarah Pekanbaru city; better, strong and managing well management, had strong finance and marketing. Meanwhile, external factors; local society at boarding school became prosperous in economic, they had good perspectives, and government that gave support to boarding school Al-Munawwarah Pekanbaru city.
