Abstract

At present there are increasing cases of sexual crimes in the family environment, with the average victim being a minor and the perpetrator being someone known to the victim, whether biological or not. Where cases occur even repeated because of the victim's inability to report the form of sexual crime they experienced. So that it makes the perpetrator often in a safe position and does not feel guilty. This research is a criminological reflection of sexual crimes that occur in the family environment. The method used in this study is an observational method with a descriptive approach. The findings from this study found that the factors that cause sexual crimes are: (1) religious factors; (2) low education and economic factors; (3) environmental factors; (4) the factor of the role of the victim. And the efforts made by related parties in overcoming it include: (1) preventive actions and (2) repressive actions.
