Abstract
This research was motivated by problems in increasing teacher professionalism especially the education teacher at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar. Islamic Religious Education Teacher Not understanding what material is being conveyed makes students feel bored and fed up. So Islamic Religious Education teachers need guidance from the madrasa head. The problem formulation in this research is What is the Role of the Madrasah Head in Increasing the Professionalism of Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar? and What is the role of the Madrasah Head in Increasing Professionalism Islamic Religious Education Teacher at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar? This research aims to describe Knowing the Role of Madrasah Heads in Increasing Professionalism Islamic Religious Education Teacher at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar and Knows the form professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar. Theoretical framework According to Mulyasa, the role of the madrasa head as educator, manager, administrator, and supervisor. This research is qualitative research with using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Technical data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Results of this research shows that the role of madrasah principals is in increasing teacher professionalism Islamic Religious Education (case at SMP IT Ulul Albab Kampar), the head of the madrasah saw the teacher Islamic Religious Education in applying religious values ??to the learning process, The madrasa head carries out learning planning for Islamic Religious Education teachers In order to prepare the syllabus and lesson plans as well as teaching materials, the head of the madrasah provides guidelines clear to Islamic Religious Education teachers that is in accordance with the norms, social, culture, the head of the madrasah supervises teaching practices so that the head of the madrasah provide technical and pedagogical support and guidance to Religious Education teachers Islam also does not forget that Islamic Religious Education teachers provide ethical values ??and professionalism expected in an Islamic education environment.
