Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the implementation of the ijarah (lease) contract at Pasir Amanah Sharia Accommodation in Rokan Hulu. Data was collected through documentation and interviews. Both primary and secondary data were used as sources for this study. This research falls under the category of field research. The research findings revealed that the implementation of ijarah contract in the practice of renting hotel rooms at Pasir Amanah Sharia Accommodation in Rokan Hulu was conducted based on an agreement between both parties, namely between the hotel (receptionist) and the room renter. The rental payment was made to the hotel according to the agreed price. Furthermore, the implementation of ijarah contract in the practice of renting hotel rooms at Pasir Amanah Sharia Accommodation was found to be in accordance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa on ijarah, fulfilling all the required pillars and conditions.
