Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of non-compliance with parents that occurred in the short film "Ngaheot". This research uses a qualitative method with semiotic analysis using the theory of Roland Barthes. This theory will express signs with dean, connotations, and myths in the film. Data collection techniques from this study are observation and documentation. Based on the results of this study, namely using observation techniques, namely data collection by observing. Watching carefully as a whole of "Ngaheot" the first short film belongs to Putri Delina Production directed by Marlina Candra and is profiled by Putri Delina. After that, yait documentation groups the data that matches the problem formula. In each data collection, aimed to make it easier to analyze data so as to obtain pehamahan and understanding in the problem being studied, namely the Semiotics Analysis of Non-Disobedience Non-Disobedience Elderly In Short Films "Ngaheot". The results of this study found the meaning of signs in the form of a picture of non-adherence towards parents as well as family value that if a older person advise the bottom of hope is listened to and not denied.
