Abstract

This study aims to determine accountability and transparency in financial management of kiab jaya village, bandar sei kijang district, pelalawan regency. The location of this research was conducted in the village government of kiab jaya, bandar sei kijang district, pelalawan regency. This research uses qualitative methods. The use of accountability planning, implementation of accountability, administration of accountability, accountability reporting, accountability accountability and transparency indicators are the necessary basis for determining the effectiveness of the implementation of accountability and transparency principles in kiab jaya village, bandar sei kijang district, pelalawan regency. Data collection was carried out through interviews and documentation, as well as through the collection of documents provided by the village of Kiab Jaya. This study used descriptive research in analyzing the data. The results of this study found that the implementation of accountability for village financial management is not in accordance with permendagri number 20 of 2018 because kiab jaya village has not made a report on the realization of activities. In addition, it was also found that the application of the principle of transparency was not in line with Permendagri Number 20 of 2018 because there was no notice board/billboard, website, and no complaint address.
