Abstract

Kuantan Singingi Regency is one of the regions that has quite high and diverse fisheries resources. The existence of fish nurseries provides opportunities for people to open businesses with fish buying and selling agreements. Sales and purchase agreements are usually carried out by agents and distributors. The thesis entitled "Judicial Overview of Default on Fish Buying and Selling (Case Study of Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency)", discusses the main problem, namely: How is the fish sale and purchase agreement in Kari Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency and what are the obstacles in implementing the agreement? buying and selling fish in Kari Village, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is classified as empirical legal research, namely observation by conducting direct interviews in the field with fish sellers in Kari Village, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The implementation of the fish sale and purchase agreement in Kari village, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency initially went smoothly. As time went by, several obstacles occurred, distributors broke their promises or failed to carry out their obligations according to the specified time.
