Abstract
The study titled "Motif of Using X as a Beauty Information Media Through Beauty Reviewer" is based on the increase of women in Indonesia who currently rely on social media as a medium to obtain beauty information, one of which is social media X. The purpose of this study is to find out the motives of women in utilizing beauty enthusiast with X @queerisy account as a beauty information medium. The methods used in this study were qualitative methods with Alfred Schutz's motive phenomenology approach, because of the motive and in order to motivate. This study established five informants based on purposive sampling by using data collection through in-depth interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques go through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study are related to the cause of motive in using the @queerisy account as a beauty information medium that the five informants are involved in the motive for the need for information and trust in the @queerisy account and the five informants also have a motive in using the X @queerisy account as a beauty information container, namely as a motive for knowledge about beauty products and a motive for experience in the field of beauty.
