Abstract
The aim of this research is to describe the relationship between the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (p5) and the formation of learning independence for class IV students at SD Negeri 008 Lubuk Siam. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection instruments, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The primary data source is class IV students and teachers, while the secondary data source is the p5 teaching module. Data validity uses source triangulation, technical triangulation and time triangulation. With data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (p5) towards the learning independence of students in class IV at SD Negeri 008 Lubuk Siam are that there is a connection to the formation of independence in students through the p5 program. Students are able to demonstrate independence when carrying out p5 activities, both outside and inside the classroom. Students are also able to complete all forms of assignments given by the teacher independently and in groups.
