Abstract
This research aims to determine the process of developing a class IV cartoon animation video on the material on the benefits of diversity and preserving cultural diversity at the 005 Palas State Elementary School, Pelalawan Regency and to determine the validity of the class IV cartoon animation video on the material on the benefits of diversity and preserving cultural diversity at the 005 Palas State Elementary School. Pelalawan Regency. The development research method uses 4D, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. However, this research was only carried out at the Development stage. Research data was obtained from interviews and validation questionnaires. The data sources in this research are teachers and validators, namely material experts, language experts and design experts. The validity of the animated video media received a very valid category without revisions in terms of the validation results by material experts who obtained a score of 92.85%, language experts obtained a score of 90% and design experts obtained a score of 94.04%.
