Abstract

This study aims to determine "what news strategies are used by the online media Riausky.com in facing the competition of online media news". This study uses a Qualitative approach. The type of research uses descriptive qualitative. In this study, the subjects numbered 5 people. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that "Riausky.com has many news strategies that have been carried out so far, namely: 1) Determining the selection of issues in the news, 2) choosing a variety of news angles. 3) writing news using direct news that is concise, dense, accurate and uses language that is easy to understand by all groups and working together in applications to introduce Riausky.com, 4) increasing the speed of news delivery by writing directly in the field and writing that discusses directly to the point that is assisted by technology and tools, 5) increasing the accuracy of writing by including documentation and reviewing writing before uploading, 6) providing a platform for the public to maintain accountability ".
