Abstract

Learning achievement were essential for students because they were the key to their success both in everyday life and in the future. The purpose of improving learning achievement was not only to train brain performance but also to provide understanding and experience in thinking creatively in every situation and condition. In the world of education, learning achievement were very important and had to be possessed by students, as they would become the key to their future success. The research aimed to understand the efforts of Islamic education teachers in improving students’ learning achievement, using qualitative research methods with the subjects being Islamic education teachers. Based on the research results, it was found that the efforts of Islamic education teachers in improving students’ learning achievement included several categories: various evaluation approaches, common challenges faced by students, diverse teaching strategies, responses to disturbances during prayer, motivation and emotional support, assistance for struggling students, and mastery of psychomotor skills.
