Abstract
Muzara'ah was a profit-sharing cooperation in which the landowner handed over their land to another person to manage, with the capital coming from the landowner. This study aimed to determine whether the profit sharing implemented in the sweet orange plantations in East Teluk Paman Village, Left Kampar District, Kampar Regency, aligned with fiqh muamalah. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with field research. The data sources used were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the results of the research, it was shown that the analysis of fiqh muamalah in the implementation of profit sharing in muzara'ah on the sweet orange plantations in East Teluk Paman Village was not entirely in accordance with fiqh muamalah. The landowner and the cultivator only made a verbal agreement without any written evidence and did not present witnesses, and the duration of the agreement was unclear. In a cooperation agreement, there should have been written evidence and witnesses to prevent misunderstandings and issues arising from the agreement.
