Abstract

Internship doctors have an important role in improving the quality of health services, carried out by improving health, preventing and curing disease and restoring the health of individuals, families, groups or communities. Good and quality health services are provided by health providers, therefore high performance is required from the health providers themselves. Self-efficacy has an influence on the psychology and physiology of internship doctors in providing health services. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of self-efficacy in health services for internship doctors. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The informants in this study were 5 people who were internship doctors with the technique of determining informants using Purposive Sampling based on predetermined characteristics. The research results from the data obtained showed that the informants, namely internship doctors, required self-efficacy to provide health services, seen from the results of observations and interviews that had been conducted.
