Abstract

The development of the company can be seen from how the employees in it have good or bad performance. The existence of the best employees is expected to be able to provide a positive impact on the company in improving the quality of the company. Employee performance problems that occur are often associated with work discipline and work motivation in realizing the company's work target goals. This study aims to find the relationship between work motivation and work discipline with employee performance at PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. Pekanbaru Branch. This study uses the Spearman Rho analysis technique, using the Motivation scale, Discipline scale, and Employee Performance Scale. The sample in this study was 100 employees of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. Pekanbaru Branch. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis between motivation and performance are (r) = 0.587 and the significant value is known to be 0.000 <0.05, the results of the correlation between discipline and performance are (r) = 0.856 and the significant value is 0.000 <0.05. This proves that there is a correlation between the variables of motivation and performance and discipline and performance which proves that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted. This proves that there is a significant relationship between the three variables. So it can be concluded that the higher the motivation and work discipline, the higher the performance of employees of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. Pekanbaru Branch, and the lower the motivation and work discipline, the lower the performance of employees of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. Pekanbaru Branch.
