Abstract

Implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Strategy Assisted by Quizizz Paper Mode to Improve Seventh Grade Mathematics Learning Outcomes on Triangle Geometry Students at Class VII-10 UPT SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu MOHD. AL FALAH YP NPM. 206410595 Thesis, Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Riau Islamic University Supervisor: Endang Istikomah, S.Pd., M.Ed ABSTRACT This research aims to enhance the effectiveness of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy assisted by Quizizz Paper Mode to improve the mathematics learning process and increase student achievement in Class VII-10 at UPT SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. Data analysis techniques include qualitative analysis to describe teacher and student activities, and quantitative analysis to depict student learning outcomes throughout the learning process. Data were collected using test techniques, by administering daily quiz tests with Quizizz Paper Mode consisting of five questions, and non-test techniques through observation sheets for teachers and students. The analysis results indicate an improvement in learning outcomes, from 22 students with a percentage of 57.68% in the first daily quiz to 32 students with a percentage of 84.63% in the second daily quiz. In conclusion, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy assisted by Quizizz Paper Mode has a positive impact on student learning outcomes and can serve as an alternative teaching model to enhance mathematics learning in Class VII-10 at UPT SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu. .
