Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between peer social support and psychological well-being in college students who love K-Pop music genre. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of the high influence of the K-Pop fandom community on the psychological condition of college students, both positively and negatively. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach through a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 100 college students who are members of the K-Pop community on social media. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test and determination test. The results showed a significant positive relationship between peer social support and psychological well-being with a correlation coefficient of 0.804 and p <0.05. Social support from peers affects 64.7% of psychological well-being, while the rest is influenced by other factors. College students who receive higher social support have better psychological well-being, as indicated by their ability to manage stress, build interpersonal relationships, and achieve life satisfaction. In conclusion, peer social support plays an important role in improving the psychological well-being of college students who love K-Pop music. This study is expected to be the basis for relevant psychological interventions among college students.
