Abstract
Stress coping strategies are plans made deliberately by individuals to reduce and even eliminate stressful situations. Stress coping strategy is very necessary for all individuals to overcome stressful situations that can cause stress, especially in shadow teachers. The purpose of this study is to find out the coping strategies of shadow teachers in resolving the stress faced while carrying out their responsibilities as shadow teachers for children with special needs in inclusion schools. This study uses a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach involving 3 informants who work as shadow teachers in inclusion schools using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are interviews and observations that are carried out periodically. The results of this study show that the shadow teachers carry out different stress coping strategies, namely stress coping strategies that focus on problems and stress coping strategies that focus on emotions. The source of stress for accompanying teachers can come from the child who is being accompanied, the parent of the child who is being accompanied, and the fees obtained are considered inappropriate.
