Abstract

This research was conducted at Duri. With regard to this research,who is an object is a building material shop entrepreneur.The problem raised in this research is whether the application of accounting conducted by building material shop entrepreneurs in Duri is in accordance with the basic concept of accounting in business operations.The puspose of this study is to find out the application of accounting is done on building business in Duri based on the concept of accounting Data collected is primary and secondary data Methods of data collection,rhe author needs for this writing material, namely structured interviews,documentation and observations While the data analysis used is the descriptive.Method In general, the business of building materials stores in Duri in carrying out their business have used cash receipts and expenditure books.However, the application of accounting to the business of building materials is not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts in running a business. This is because entrepreneurs, building material stores have not separated household expenditure from business expenses.
