Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF JOB SATISFACTION ON TURNOVER INTENTION IN EMPLOYEES AT PT. SINAR RIAU CONTRACTORS Disya Safira Syahril 198110078 FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF RIAU ABSTRACT The company really wants to achieve its goals effectively through optimal human resource management, so as to increase productivity and ensure the company's sustainability and growth in the future. Companies can undertake various initiatives, one of which involves increasing job satisfaction to ensure employee loyalty and to reduce the possibility of personnel turnover to other organizations, which is known as turnover intention. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention among employees at PT. Sinar Riau Contractor. This research uses quantitative methods with a simple linear regression approach. The subjects of this research consisted of 121 people and using a 30 item job satisfaction scale and an 11 item turnover intention scale. The research results show that job satisfaction influences turnover intention by 20.2%, while the remaining 79.8% is influenced by other factors. The t-statistic value is - 5.482 and the significance level is 0.000 (p < 0.05). Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted. The resulting regression equation is Y = 4.612 - 0.433X.
