Abstract
Adaptation is a person's ability to adapt to the environment by interacting with other people in various social situations where a person has a belief or ability to be accepted by the environment. A person has the ability to solve problems based on levels and strengths in different situations. This research aims to find out the relationship between Self Efficacy and Personal Adjustment in New Students at Riau Islamic University. In this research, researchers used quantitative methods. The population in this study was 5,297 new students at Riau Islamic University, with a sample size of 400 respondents. In this study, researchers used a non-probability sampling method, namely purposive sampling. The scales used in this research are the Self Efficacy scale and the Adjustment scale. The results of data analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation technique, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between Self Efficacy and Self-Adjustment in New Students at Riau Islamic University.
