Abstract
Occupational safety and health are important things that must be considered by the company. This is because the impact of occupational accidents and illnesses not only harms the workforce, but also the company itself and has the potential to affect the company's productivity. In general, occupational safety and health refers to the interaction between workers, the machines or equipment used and the work environment in the company's operational and production processes. The use of technology and various types of chemical raw materials has a high level of risk of causing work accidents. Apart from that, occupational diseases can also be caused by high exposure to the work environment. This research has a main problem that will be discussed, namely, the Implementation of Legal Protection in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for workers at PT. Cahaya Intan Abadi Indonesia, Based on Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment and secondly, Obstacles in Providing Legal Protection in Work Safety (K3) for PT Employees. Cahaya Intan Abadi Indonesia Based on Law No.13 of 2003 concerning Employment. So the aim of this research is to find out the results of the problem formulation in this research. This legal research is a type of sociological legal research, namely research that goes directly to the field to obtain research data. Meanwhile, the nature of this research is descriptive analysis, namely describing or providing an overview of data obtained from the field, namely regarding Legal Protection in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for workers at PT. Indonesia's Eternal Diamond Light. The results of this research concluded that the Implementation of Legal Protection in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for workers at PT. Cahaya Intan Abadi Indonesia, Based on Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment, it is quite good, it's just that there are several employees who experience work accidents while carrying out work which is caused by several factors, the most important factor is the element of negligence on the part of the workers themselves. because he did not heed instructions from the leadership where he worked. And obstacles to providing legal protection in work safety (K3) for PT workers. Cahaya Intan Abadi Indonesia Based on Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment is that workers do not have awareness of the dangers of the work they do and do not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when doing their work.
