Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the level of self-confidence of extracurricular basketball students at Babussalam High School Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using a questionnaire as the instrument. The population in this study were 20 extracurricular basketball students at Babussalam High School Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used is a total sampling technique, namely taking sample members from the entire population. The data analysis technique used is calculating the percentage value of the final questionnaire score. Based on the research results, the conclusion obtained in this research is: the level of self-confidence of extracurricular basketball students at Babussalam Pekanbaru High School is classified as strong because based on the percentage value the self-confidence score is 77.77% which is in the range of 61- 80%.
