Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of speed and balance to dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students. This type of research is correlational. The population in this study was SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students, totaling 22 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study was 22 people. The research instruments used were the 40 meter running test, stork stand test and dribbling test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test and calculating the contribution value. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) There is a contribution of speed to ball dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.568 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 32.26%. (2) There is a balance contribution to ball dribbling skills in SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.621 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 38.56%. (3) There is a contribution of speed and balance to the dribbling skills of SSB UIR Soccer School U 13 students with a value of rcount = 0.696 > rtable = 0.423 and a KD value of 48.44%.
