Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of agility and speed to futsal dribbling skills in extracurricular activities at SMA N 20 Batam. This type of research is multiple correlation. The population in this study were students who took part in extracurricular futsal at SMA N 20 Batam, totaling 24 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study was 24 people. The research instruments used were the Illinois agility run test, the 40 meter run test and the futsal dribble test. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson correlation test and simultaneous correlation test then looking at the guidelines for the degree of relationship. (1) There is a contribution of agility to dribbling skills in extracurricular futsal at SMA N 20 Batam with a significance value of f = 0.000 < 0.05 with a degree of relationship of 0.451 (medium correlation), (2) There is a contribution of agility to futsal dribble skills at SMA N 20 Batam with a significance value of f = 0.003 < = 0.05 with the degree of relationship 0.721 (strong correlation). (3) There is a contribution of agility and speed to dribbling skills in extracurricular futsal at SMA N 20 Batam with a significance value of f = 0.000 < 0.05 with a degree of relationship of 0.497 (medium correlation).
