Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of futsal skills in extracurricular athletes at SD Al Azhar Sifa Budi Pekanbaru. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research, which provides an overview of the basic futsal technical abilities of students who are part of the extracurricular program. The population inthis study were all students who took part in futsal extracurricular activities at SD Al Azhar Sifa Budi Pekanbaru, with samples taken purposively, consisting of 25 students who regularly took part in training. The research instrumentsused include standard futsal skills tests, which include aspects of basic technical mastery such as dribbling, controlled, passing, shooting. The results obtained after conducting researcharestill in thevery poorcategory,as evidencedby the average futsal skill score of 73.96, located in the interval 60 - 76. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for coaches and schools to design programs. more structured and targetedtraining, in order to optimize students' futsal skills. With the right training, it is hoped that students can achieve higher performance in futsal and build a strong foundation for further development of sporting skills.
