Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness of students in class 1B of Physical Education, Class of 2024, Riau Islamic University. This type of research is descriptive. The population and sample in this research were 20 students of Class 1B Physical Education, Class of 2024, Riau Islamic University. The research instrument used was a physical fitness test consisting of a 60 meter sprint test, a hanging body lift test, a 60 second sitting lying test, an upright jumping test, a 1200 meter distance test. The data analysis technique used is calculating the categories of students' physical fitness scores. Based on the results of the calculation of the average physical fitness score, it is known that the physical fitness level of students in class 1B of Physical Education, Class of 2024, Riau Islamic University with the final average score achieved is only 14, which is located in the interval 14-17 with the score category being Medium.
