Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-confidence and peak performance of handball athletes in the Riau Islands Province. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using a questionnaire as the instrument.This questionnaire has been validated by the validator team and has been tested he population in this study were 28 handball athletes from Riau Islands Province. The sampling technique used is a total sampling technique, namely taking sample members from the entire population. The data analysis technique used is calculating the percentage value of the final questionnaire score. Based on the research results, the conclusion obtained in this study is: The relationship between self-confidence and peak performance of handball athletes in Riau Islands Province is strong with the average questionnaire score being 68.71%.
