Abstract

There are many parking problems, especially those related to parking attendants, ranging from incomplete attributes to arrogant parking attendants. The purpose of this study was to determine the Evaluation of the Implementation of Tasks and to determine the obstacles faced by the Parking UPT of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service in Supervising and Controlling Parking in Pekanbaru City. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of this study are the Effectiveness of the Implementation of parking supervision in Pekanbaru City has not been effective because there are still officers or parking attendants who do not carry out guarding according to operational hours. The efficiency of parking area management in Pekanbaru City is still not well organized. The adequacy of parking provision in Pekanbaru City has not covered all the public parking needs of the Pekanbaru City community. Equity can be concluded that the submission of retribution money by the Parking UPT is submitted entirely. Responsiveness in the role of the community has an important role in supervising the behavior of parking attendants. Accuracy can be seen from the community and the government working together and also having to collaborate to determine which locations are allowed and not allowed for parking. The obstacles faced in the management and supervision of parking management in Pekanbaru City are as follows: The obstacle is the vast area of Pekanbaru City. There is still a lack of CCTV surveillance cameras at each parking point. The community also sometimes does not support supervision by not providing reports
