Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of understanding and analyzing the management of regional assets at the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency of Dumai City. The research indicators used by the author in this study are two: Security and Maintenance, employing a qualitative research method. Based on research conducted in the field as well as interviews with sources, the Management of Regional Assets at the Financial and Asset Management Agency of Dumai City manages regional assets according to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 19 of 2016 concerning Guidelines for the Management of Regional Property. The focus of the research is on the management of security and maintenance of fixed assets, specifically the land owned by the Dumai City government. The implementation of security includes regulations regarding asset security, asset inventory, legal security, and physical security. The implementation of maintenance involves asset maintenance and maintenance evaluation. The challenges in the implementation of asset security include incomplete recording of land addresses, the existence of land assets that do not yet have certificates, and land assets that lack signage. In terms of maintenance, there are lands that have not been provided with signage and lands that have not been properly maintained.
