Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical ability of extracurricular pencak silat students at Tapak Suci at SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. This type of research is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were 13 extracurricular pencak silat students at Tapak Suci SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. The research instruments used were physical condition tests for fighters, namely the leg dynamometer test, sit up test, push up test, vertical jump test, medicine ball throw test, flexometer test and 15 minute run test. The data analysis technique used is calculating the category of physical condition values possessed by the fighter. Based on the results of the calculation of the average value of physical condition that has been carried out on athletes, it is known that the results of the level of physical condition of extracurricular pencak silat students at Tapak Suci at SMA N 1 Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir are 4.3, located in the range of 4.0-5.9 which is classified in the Sufficient category Keywords: Physical Condition Ability of Tapak Suci Pencak Silat Extracurricular Students
