Abstract

The problem in the study is the low level of physical fitness of futsal extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the physical fitness of futsal extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. The type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were students who were members of the futsal extracurricular of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. The sample of this study was 15 futsal extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. The test instrument used was the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) for ages 13- 15 years. Data were collected using 50-meter running measurements, body lifting hanging tests, 60-second lying sitting tests, vertical jump tests, 1000-meter running tests. Based on the results of the study of physical fitness of extracurricular futsal students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru from 15 samples, there were no players in the very good and good categories, in the moderate category there were 9 people (60%), in the less category there were 6 people (40%), and there were no players in the very less category. So it can be concluded that the results of the study on the level of physical fitness of extracurricular futsal students of SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru are considered "moderate".
