Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the interest in learning physical education subjects in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Tambang. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were 225 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Tambang, the sampling technique used was simple random sampling of 20.44% of the total population so that the sample in this study was 46 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, the conclusion obtained in this study is: interest in learning physical education subjects in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Tambang is included in the range of 81-100% or in the very strong category with a percentage of 85.25%.
