Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine whether there was a contribution of agility and speed to dribbling in futsal extracurricular students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This research is correlational research. The research sample was 17 futsal extracurricular students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru, where the sampling technique was total sampling. The research instruments were agility tests (dogging run) and speed tests (sprints), dribbling tests. Collection techniques using tests and measurements. Data analysis with Product Moment correlation. The results of this research show: (1) There is a significant contribution between agility and futsal dribbling with a correlation coefficient value of 0.491 > r table 0.482 and a distribution coefficient tcount of 2.18 > ttable 1.74 and a contribution of 24.10%. (2) There is a significant contribution between speed and futsal dribbling with a correlation coefficient of 0.534> r table 0.482 and a distribution coefficient tcount of 2.43> ttable 1.74 and a contribution of 28.51%. (3) There is a significant contribution between agility and speed together in futsal dribbling with a correlation coefficient value of 0.592 > r table 0.482 and calculated F 3.77 > 2.13 F table and a contribution of 35.04%.
