Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze, determine and explain the effect of shopping lifestyle on impulse buying (Case study of Nitias Hijab Pekanbaru consumers). The research method used is a quantitative descriptive, namely describing the actual situation of what exists at the time. Research by collecting data and classifying it so that an analysis of the problem faced can be obtained. The sampling technique used in this research is accidental sampling with the sample in this research being consumers of Nitias Hijab Pekanbaru, totaling 96 respondents. Data collection methods include using questionnaires, observation, interview and documentation and data processing using SPSS 25 software. The result of this study show that validity test of the instrument show that t count > t table means all statement items are valid and reliability is above 0,60 which means reliable. The result of t test shoe that there is an effect between shopping lifestyle and impulse buying with a calculated value of t count (12,981) > t table (1,660) sig (0,00) < (0,1) witch shows shopping lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying. Then, the determinant coefficient (R²) show a result of 0,647 or 64,2% while the remaining 35,8% is effect by other variables were not observed in this research.
