Abstract

The purpose of the study "Analysis of Accountability and Transparency in Financial Management in the Government of Pulau Ingu Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency" is to solve the problem formulation and determine the level of Accountability and Transparency in Financial Management in the Government of Pulau Ingu Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency which refers to the Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Number 20 of 2018. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a descriptive analysis method. The object of research in this study is Pulau Ingu Village, which is located in Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The types and sources of data in this study are Primary data obtained from interviews with several relevant informants such as the Village Head, Village Secretary, Head of Finance and several residents of Pulau Ingu Village, which then the results of these interviews will be presented supported by Secondary data obtained from financial data and documentary evidence of Pulau Ingu Village. Furthermore, conclusions can be drawn from all the results of the research that has been done. The results of the study show that financial management in the government of Pulau Ingu Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency can be said to be accountable because it has implemented the principles of accountability which refer to Permendagri Number 20 of 2018. However, in terms of transparency, it cannot be said to be completely transparent in accordance with Permendagri Number 20 of 2018, this is due to the lack of socialization carried out by Pulau Ingu Village officials in Village Financial Management, so that people who are still very unfamiliar with this matter still do not understand how the village financial management process is. This resulted in misunderstanding and dissatisfaction with the Village community regarding the performance of the Pulau Ingu Village apparatus.
