Abstract

This research was conducted on Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Berkah Usaha Sungai Luar Village Batang Tuaka District Indragiri Hilir Regency which aims to determine the suitability of the application of accounting to Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Berkah Usaha Sungai Luar Village Batang Tuaka District Indragiri Hilir Regency with generally accepted accounting principles. This research is a qualitative research. The data types and sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use interview and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The result obtained from this study is that the application of accounting to BUMDes Berkah Usaha has not been in accordance with the principles of generally accepted accounting, because the accounting cycle has not been fully implemented and the presentation of financial statements is incomplete.
