Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems that occur in the maintenance of PT Prima Wira Agung’s production machines. Maintenance carried out by the company is generally preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. This study uses a quantitative research design with interviews being the main tool for collecting data. And using the probability method as an analytical tool to be able to find out the possibilities that will occur and help find efficient maintenance costs. The results of the study show that the maintenance at PT Prima Wira Agung is quite good, it’s just that the implementation must be even more optimal. The results of the analysis using the probability method found that it is cost effective, which is in the 3rd month, which is IDR 324,492. With an estimated damage cost of IDR 185,606 and preventive costs of IDR 138,886, when compared with corrective maintenance of IDR 587,530, there is a difference of IDR 263,038.
