Abstract

Job insecurity is also an employee's assessment of their job, causing them to feel that their employment is at risk and they are powerless to do anything about the situation. This can be detected early on by conducting periodic evaluations of employees, such as gradually evaluating their performance, or by monitoring the level of employee absenteeism. This study aims to determine the impact of job insecurity on the performance of employees at PT. Telkom Pekanbaru. The sample consists of 50 employees, selected using quota sampling. The data analysis employs simple linear regression. The results of this study reveal that job insecurity has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This means that the higher the job insecurity, the higher the performance of employees at PT. Telkom Pekanbaru will be. A decrease in an employee's performance occurs when the work environment and job discomfort increase. K
