Abstract
Narcotics crime has become a big problem in Indonesia and is a transnational crime. This shows the Indonesian government's commitment to eradicating narcotics crimes. Even though Indonesia has regulations governing narcotics crimes, these regulations have not solved the problem because the perpetrators always find ways to continue their actions. To eradicate this crime, law enforcement must be more serious. The main problem of this research is what is the form of law enforcement against the abuse of methamphetamine narcotics in overcrowded police stations and what are the factors that hinder law enforcement against methamphetamine narcotics abuse in overcrowded police stations at Rokan Hulu Police. The method used in this research is empirical or sociological legal research, by survey or direct inspection of the research location using data collection tools, namely interviews. The results of the research show that law enforcement at the Fullness Police Department stated that the entire law enforcement process had been carried out in accordance with statutory regulations, namely by carrying out inquiries, investigations and rehabilitation. Obstacles in handling narcotics crime at the Kefullan Police are the lack of cooperation between the police and the community, as well as a lack of infrastructure funds due to the inaccessibility of narcotics abuse locations to make arrests. All Indonesian people must work more together and be serious in fighting narcotics crimes for the sake of a better future.
