Abstract

Information security on a website or application is important in protecting data from unwanted access or changes. Without good protection, data can be vulnerable to attacks, such as the SIPA FT-UIR website owned by one of the Islamic Universities of Riau that can be accessed by students or lecturers storing important data in it. This research will provide information on SIPA FT-UIR security testing as a consideration and suggestion for developers to improve security to avoid vulnerabilities on the website. With this goal, testing was carried out on the SIPA FT-UIR website to check for vulnerabilities using the OWASP WSTG v4.2 Client-side Testing method. The results obtained from this research are the discovery of 6 vulnerabilities in SIPA FT-UIR.
